        Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is Canada's only national, non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope and support to everyone affected by a brain tumour. Every year, thousands of Canadians affected by brain tumours find emotional support and comfort while gaining a better understanding and knowledge of their disease through a range of programs and services available across the country. This includes: up-to-date brain tumour information material, numerous education events and support groups. Important brain tumour research is also supported through annual grants, two fellowships, studentships and the brain tumour tissue bank. Finally the educational endeavors of pediatric brain tumour survivors are supported through the new Education Awards program.

        -Fund the Brain Tumour Tissue Bank at London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario. -Award research grants for scientific projects focused on finding a cure, improving treatments, and improving the quality of life for people surviving with a brain tumour. -Provide Patient Resource Handbooks and Children's Storybooks, in English, French and Italian to people diagnosed with brain tumours, their family members, and heath care professionals. -Provide emotional support and information to people who called using our toll free phone service or electronically Run education seminars which are weekend events designed to provide attendees with a smaller scale learning environment to address topics such as quality of life and treatment
