Founded in 2002,Nikkei Place Foundation has a mandate to build a strong andvibrant community by raising funds to support programs and activities taking place at Nikkel Place. The Foundation receives donations and manages the fund and/or property for the purpose of exclusively disbursing funds and property to the Nikkel National Museum and Cultural Centre ("NNMCC") and the Nikkei Seniors Health Care and Housing Society ("NSHCHS"),which are both "qualified donees".
