Founded in 2002, Nikkei Place Foundation has a mandate to build a strong and vibrant community by raising funds to support programs and activities taking place at Nikkei Place. The Foundation receives donations and manages the fund and/or property for the purpose of exclusively disbursing funds and property to the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre ("NNMCC") and the Nikkei Seniors Health Care and Housing Society ("NSHCHS"), which are both "qualified donees".
