The Rotary Foundation (Canada) supports a variety of local and international charitable and social welfare programs and activities, which include: 1) Educational scholarships in pursuit of advanced studies, and vocational and professional training; 2) District-level projects that enable Rotary clubs and districts to address immediate needs within their local communities and abroad; 3) Global projects are strategically focused, high-impact international activities with sustainable and mearurable outcomes in the areas of: peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development and ; 4) PolioPlus program provides funding, mobilizes Rotary volunteer support, and promotes polio eradication around the world.
