What Qualifies a Child as a “Dreamer”?

For a child to be given a Dream, he/she must:

  • be between the biological age of seven (7) and eighteen (18) with the mental cognitive skill of a 7-year old at the least.
  • have a life-threatening or debilitating physical illness
  • live in Canada
  • be able to formulate and communicate the particulars of his/ her dream without the need for facilitation
  • have not already been part of a similar organization’s dream or wish program

Note: Charity Focus reserves the right to deny the fulfillment of a dream request under the grounds that it’s unsafe for the child, detrimental to his/her condition, exceeds the budget allocation, and is in conflict with the values of the foundation.
